Generally, I am not a travel blog writer but the trip to Coorg is my 1st travel place, and it is very special to me as I had this trip with my husband after marriage. My husband and I got married recently, as it’s a covid time we did not plan to go out for an international holiday considering the safety measures and sudden lockdown implementation. My hubby planned a small holiday to Coorg considering my love for greenery.

Club Mahindra has a huge area of greenery and the resort is very cozy and has a great ambiance. It was a rainy time, and we had a warm welcome with good jaggery coffee, it’s a Coorg special drink and tastes good. The hotel reception has beautiful flowers and a fountain on it which is eye-catching.

Our room was fantastic and had a good space of balcony for relaxation. The staff members are very professional, they helped us to explore the resort more. We went in the rainy season so we could not enjoy the resort adventures properly as most of the things were closed but luckily zip paddling was open and we both enjoyed it a lot. Our special thanks to the staff member, sorry I don’t remember his name, but he took us to zip paddling and clicked many pictures and even took video from down so that we can have our happy moments captured.

Also, a very special thanks to Sadia, she helped my husband to make all arrangements for my birthday surprise. They decorated the sit-out in the poolside with, balloons and candles and it’s like one of my fantasy dreams come true moments. We had cake cutting and the dinner was served way from the restaurant to the place where we had our romantic candlelight dinner, right from starters to dessert everything was served to our special place. I can’t thank enough the hospitality staff member who took extra effort to bring everything to the private place on that rainy night. Every day we went out sightseeing and we got caught in a slight drizzle but as soon as we requested hospitality team gave us room heater to dry our clothes and made our stay comfortable.
