Sherwood is a nicely nestled resort in the greenery of Mahabaleshwar. It is away from the main town and offers a nice happy place for members The best part of our stay was that we got to live in a ‘semi-tree house’ where a tree was growing through the balcony. Many monkey visitors dropped in making it a crazy fun experience for the kids. The food is nice. In fact the resort was very accommodating to our demands.

We celebrated 2 couple anniversaries here and we got a special cake from the resort. The Happy Hub was closed when we visited but there were still things to do around the resort. We visited the Shiva temple.

We went to the mapro garden where you should definitely have the strawberry cream and stone oven baked pizza. And also took a tour of Mala’s factory. The highlight experience was us to table top where we did horse riding and also went to Pandava’s cave. It was the kids’ first horse riding experience and we had a fun time. It’ll be lovely to go back here and also probably check out Saj which is closer to the market.
