Every May, there comes a day when we take a moment to cherish, celebrate and express our gratitude openly to the one person who is among the biggest contributors in shaping our life, personality and values. A mother is associated with selflessness, unconditional love, patience, and strength and is someone who acts as a grounding force in our lives. Our mothers are our first teachers. While mothers are loved and cherished every day, Mother’s Day gives an opportunity to express what we feel – something many of us miss out in the daily humdrum of life.

As we called for entries on the #MOMents to Cherish contest, we received many heartwarming stories. We must say that the quality of entries makes it truly difficult for us to pick a single winner. But that we must.

Let’s. of course, acknowledge some of our wonderful participants who gave us the privilege of a glimpse into their lives with their photos and stories. 11-year-old Bhavyita who shared such a lovely write up about her mother – you are a writer in the making. “All my club mahindra holidays with mommy are extremely easy and I have absolutely nothing to worry about. One such #MOMenttocherish happened during our visit to Club Mahindra, Jaisalmer was when mom had twisted her leg and was barely even able to walk. Since we were there only for two days, she was pretty upset with the fact that the trip would be ruined. But the staff at the resort were such lovelies, they got her a wheelchair and ensured that she could attend all the activities at the Happy Hub. They literally even changed games for those evenings and came up with some games that were convenient for her:) This was really heart-touching and mom never even felt like she missed out on anything!!”
